GOO GOO DOLLS
In 2018, Jim teamed up with the multi-platinum selling, Grammy nominated rock band Goo Goo Dolls. Since then, they have done extensive touring throughout the U.S., Europe and South America. In early 2019, they recorded their latest studio album Miracle Pill, for which Jim played all the keyboards and sang background vocals. Their co-headlining tour with Train was one of the highest grossing tours of the summer of 2019.
In 2020, Jim co-produced and arranged the band’s first Christmas album It’s Christmas All Over. He also co-wrote the two original songs on the album This Is Christmas and You Ain’t Gettin’ Nothin’, the former of which is the first single from the album released to radio and featured in the Hallmark movie Christmas She Wrote. This Is Christmas has also been tapped as the main trailer song for the Hallmark channel’s full roster of holiday season TV shows and movies. In a personal highlight, Jim’s daughter Sydney sings lead vocals on a tender remake of the Goo’s hit song Better Days.

PRODUCING
Jim co-produced the new Goo Goo Dolls Christmas album It’s Christmas All Over (released on Oct. 20, 2020). He has also recently worked on productions for: AJA, Isabella Kay, Laura Michelle, My Silent Bravery, Foxes & Lions, and The Unlikely Candidates.
MUSIC FOR FILM & TV
Jim recently composed music for the new David E. Kelley ABC drama series Big Sky. Jim’s song Get It Out was featured on an episode of the 3rd season of the HBO hit show Ozark. His music has been featured on several TV shows and films, including: Criminal Minds, One Tree Hill, American Housewife, Good Behavior, Late Bloomers, Countdown, White Irish Drinkers and CSI:NY.
GWEN STEFANI
In 2017, Jim reunited with platinum recording artist, multi-Grammy winner and fashion icon Gwen Stefani (with whom he had worked with in 2015). Jim performed on Gwen's Christmas special for NBC, as well as TV performances on Jimmy Fallon, Ellen, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the famed Rockefeller Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Disney Christmas special. To date, Jim is the only musician to hold the different positions (lead guitarist AND keyboard/backing vocalist) in Gwen’s band.
KENNY WAYNE SHEPARD
In 2020, Jim was back in the studio with blues guitar great Kenny Wayne Shepherd working on his latest studio album. This marks Jim’s 4th studio collaboration with Kenny. Jim also played on Kenny's 2019 release The Traveler, which debuted at #1 on the blues charts.
MATT NATHANSON
After 12 years, Matt Nathanson’s Some Mad Hope, which Jim played guitar and keyboards on, has gone Gold! This proves that good things come to those who wait!
MARC BROUSSARD
Marc Broussard’s Easy To Love is out now!! Jim co-wrote and produced half of the album, including the singles Don’t Be Afraid To Call Me, Please Please Please and Memory of You.
Jim also produced a Christmas album for Marc in 2015 entitled Magnolia’s and Mistletoe.
SABRINA CARPENTER
The Middle of Starting Over (which Jim wrote and produced for Sabrina Carpenter) - has over 40 million views on YouTube! and over 9 Million plays on Spotify.
KATE Voegele
In 2016 Jim produced the single Must Be Summertime for Kate Voegele, as well as several songs on her latest album Canyonlands.
